What is Functional Skills?
Functional Skills consists of the teaching of Maths, English, and Life Skills. Our functional skill sessions are held at The Peacock Site, (SK15 1EB). The qualifications that are able to be obtained range from Entry 1 to Level 2.
Students complete their functional skills studies in reduced class sizes, allowing for more personalised support and focused learning.
Lessons are designed around real-world scenarios to help students develop practical, transferable skills they can use in everyday life and future employment.
Engaging quizzes and interactive activities are used to reinforce understanding, while a calm and supportive environment ensures students feel comfortable, confident, and ready to succeed.
