R&R Opportunity Shop

Located in the heart of Stalybridge, is our R&R Opportunity Shop, which opened in November 2025. R&R is more than just a retail space, it is a vibrant learning environment designed to empower young people through hands-on experience.

Specialising in affordable, trend-led clothing aimed primarily at young people, the shop offers an environment shaped by those who know it best, our learners. From choosing stock and setting prices to designing displays and organising the shop floor, learners take an active leadership role in every aspect of the business. This real responsibility helps build confidence, creativity, and a genuine understanding of how a retail environment operates.

R&R is a key part of our commitment to preparing learners for the world of work. While gaining valuable, day-to-day retail experience, learners also have the opportunity to work towards a Level 1 Retail Qualification. This combination of practical skills and recognised accreditation provides a strong foundation for their next steps.

Through their time at R&R, learners develop essential employability skills including teamwork, customer service, communication, problem-solving, and time management. The experience they gain is carefully designed to support progression into external placements, further education, and ultimately, paid employment.

R&R is about creating opportunities for our learners. Giving learners the chance to grow, contribute, and succeed in a supportive, real-world setting.
