Across our different sites, we offer a diverse and engaging curriculum. At The Peacock, learners focus on essential life and academic skills, including Functional Skills in Maths and English, independent living, digital skills, PSHE, and construction. This provides a strong foundation for both everyday life and progression into further opportunities.
At Ragland’s Farm, learners gain hands on experience in animal care and horse care, developing responsibility, teamwork and practical vocational skills in a unique outdoor setting.
At The Lock, our catering and hospitality provision allows learners to develop industry relevant skills in a real working environment, building confidence and preparing them for employment within the sector.
At our R&R shop, learners gain experience in a retail environment. Learners are able to take charge in decisions at the shop, preparing them for future employment.
A key focus across all areas of the college is preparing learners for the world of work. We provide meaningful opportunities for both internal and external work placements, enabling learners to gain valuable experience, develop employability skills, and explore future career pathways.
